Den Haag Dutch Cabinet, a coalition of VVD, CDA and PVV, fell this afternoon local time. Coalition partners PVV leader Geert Wilders withdrew because they do not agree with a package of measures to close the efficiency of -3% budget deficit.
Wilders said in a press conference that his party rejected because of a policy package that the expense of purchasing power of retirees. Efficiency policies worth a total of EUR 16 billion was also assessed Wilders would be detrimental to the economy and lead to unemployment.
"The package does not represent the interests of the efficiency of our voters. (Coalition) definitively broke up," said Wilders, also marked the dissolution of the negotiations on the efficiency of the policy package that has lasted for 50 days at the official residence of Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Catshuis, Den Haag.
In a separate conference, Prime Minister Mark Rutte (VVD) and the Deputy Prime Minister cum Finance Minister Maxime Verhagen (CDA) with a hard to blame Wilders (PVV).
"PVV tremble at the last moment for the consequences of the commitments already made. As a result we are now here with empty hands," Rutte said.
Verhagen react more sharply to the accused Wilders has allowed 16 million Dutch people in trouble.
"Hopes that the Netherlands in the near future out of the crisis has been shattered by the PVV. Wilders does not have the political courage to defend what has been agreed," Verhagen condemns.
According to Verhagen, efficiency and reform policy was indeed a bitter but necessary. "People will feel on their finances, but within the bounds of acceptable, and with a perspective of improvement after 2013," said Verhagen.
PM Rutte asserted that the election is the most logical scenario, following the breakup of the coalition. Cabinet will next outgoing. The same is conveyed by Wilders and the leaders of opposition parties.
"All agreed to require (the election)," said the leader of the Labour Party (PvdA) Diederik Samsom.
Actually, according to the Dutch election law, the next election could be held 84 days after the fall of the cabinet. But since that period, calculated from the present, coinciding with the long summer vacation, then held elections impossible.
Imposed if the voter turnout will be very low, because most Dutch people are on vacation. Thus the most likely election could be held in September or October.
